Responsibilities: Summary- Maintain accounts, records, ledgers, and assist in the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements for the Company. - Also, assist with
accounting
research, analytical reviews of accounts and balances, and production and distribution of reports relating to specific insurance accounting areas. - Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and other financial reports - Provide analysis and reports to company's
management
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports- and ensuring accuracy - Identify trends and developments, and communicating them to management - Perform a variety of tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university - 1-2 years working in public accounting/SEC reporting role - A solid, demonstrated understanding of accounting concepts - Ability to organize, self-prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with demanding internal and external deadlines - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
