Responsibilities:
Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the administration of human resources, most specifically dealing with the recruitment and on-boarding of new National Interstate Associates. Responsible for executing processes surrounding: background checks, drug screens, employee files, social media recruitment and onboarding.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate campus recruiting and job fair schedules. Participate in increasing relationships at selected campuses. Manage and keep all job postings up-to-date. Administers surveys and other tracking methods to measure and define success for the Talent Acquisition team and other areas of Human Resources. Helps promote National Interstate's employer brand via social media and other mediums. Provides administrative support to Recruiting and HR team; including interview coordination, posting positions into internal systems and external job boards. Coordinates new hire checklists and coordinates candidate start information across the company. Schedules, administers, and scores pre-employment tests given to applicants. Maintains supply of on-boarding materials and candidate offer packets. Administers new employee orientations and paperwork. Assist in maintaining integrity of all personnel and benefit records. Assist with departmental and employee projects and events as assigned. Assist in the administration of all human resources functional areas including; benefits, compensation, onboarding, payroll, and recruiting. Other duties assigned by supervisor as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree highly preferred or commensurate work experience. One to three years of experience in a HR coordination role, talent acquisition coordination emphasis preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and other correspondence that has a large viewing audience. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees at all levels within the organization. Strong written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in Word, Excel and Outlook functions. Prior experience with Internet-based programs. Working knowledge of social media outlets (ie LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to learn and handle multiple tasks. Can search for deeper meaning and identify areas of need for process improvement. Continuously involves use of a computer. Continuously involves use of a phone & communicating. Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds assisted or unassisted. Ability to stand and speak for several hours in a training style format. Travel Requirements: 1-10% Travel would typically be local or less than 4 hours from home office for career fairs and may require overnight stay.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
